Celebrating Irish wineries and winemakers.
Especially curated by Head Sommelier of The Westbury, Philip Dunne, this exemplary wine box is a bespoke collection of some of the world’s most esteemed wines. Adding an additional point of distinction, all the selected wines have an Irish connection.
The first two wines, a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are hand produced by multi-disciplined Irish winemaker, pharmacist, and Master of Wine Róisín Curley, who hails from County Mayo. Róisín began her winemaking journey with her first vintage in 2015. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are both produced in some of the best sites of Burgundy.
The Chardonnay is creamy and rich, retaining its pure fruit character and freshness. Róisín’s Pinot Noir is equally as charming as her Chardonnay, possessing the most elegant strawberry, raspberry and truffle aromas. These are two truly exquisite wines which are guaranteed to delight and impress.
Rounding off this trio of ‘Irish-made’ wines is one that needs little introduction. Founded by Irish émigré, Thomas Barton, Chateau Leoville Barton is one of the world’s most iconic wineries. The 1998 is the crème de la crème of Bordeaux red wines - one that will remain in the mind for a long time once tasted.
